Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer Position

Finesta is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join ABB Estonia’s engineering team.

In this role, you will support the development and improvement of frequency converter and drive technologies used worldwide. This is a great opportunity to work in a global company, contribute to innovative products, and grow your engineering career.

What you will do:

  • Design mechanical drive systems using 3D CAD tools

  • Develop and implement design improvements for existing products throughout their lifecycle

  • Prepare and update technical documentation, including manufacturing drawings, assembly instructions, bills of materials and configuration tables

  • Support prototype and pilot production, ensuring smooth transition from design to manufacturing

What we are looking for:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Strong experience in 3D mechanical design

  • Knowledge of sheet metal design and manufacturing processes

  • Confident use of CAD tools and general PC skills

  • Good English skills, Estonian is an advantage
